Why is it that parents are so insecure?
They know that we teenagers learn more and more,
There are days I feel that I am being stopped of being free,
Is it just because my parents love me?
I want to grow up, but not too fast,
Probably that's what our moms are trying to get past,
They want us to grow into beautiful young ladies,
Not sixteen-year-olds stuck with crying babies.
I guess we have to follow their rules,
Until we mature and graduate from school,
But it is good our parents do care,
Maybe when we get older we'll understand the fear.
