A single medium tomato gives you nearly your whole day's supply of vitamin A, which helps keep your eyes and skin healthy.
How do you tell a great fresh tomato from the flavorless hothouse variety? Smell it! A whiff of any tomato will tell you how the tomato will taste. If you smell nothing...skip it! This sandwich depends on the tomato for most of its appeal.
